Data protection consent to the processing of your information regarding visual impairment

With your consent, we process your voluntary information about the severity of your visual impairment and—if you enter anything—your free text about the type of visual impairment as health data. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) in conjunction with Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR.

We use this information to

• improve the app and adapt its display and functions (e.g., contrast, font size, navigation) to different visual conditions, and

• create anonymized statistics about user groups and disease groups (e.g., for our product strategy and improvement, as well as communication with investors).

Your free text entry will only be used to assign you to a disease group and will then be deleted; only the disease group will be stored permanently. Your information is voluntary and the app will work without it. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect.
