SmartAIs - Understanding, finding, arriving. Wherever you are!
Outdoors
Destination in sight, GPS inaccurate? We'll take care of the last few meters, whether it's to your front door, house number, bus stop or bus, store entrance, or subway/train station entrance. Wherever you want to go. As long as it's within sight of your smartphone.
Indoors
Whether at home or in public places, we guide you to the train tracks, read out information on display boards, guide you to stairs, room numbers, or a product in the supermarket. As long as it is within sight of your smartphone.

SmartAIs App in action
Experience in the video how SmartAIs supports blind and visually impaired people with spatial environment descriptions and by helping them find points of orientation (e.g., the entrance to a pharmacy).

Karl-Matthias Schäfer, Chair of the BSBH e. V. and personally affected.
“I found the doorbell at the hotel entrance! I also managed to locate a trash bin precisely at Frankfurt Central Station. Before, I always had trouble hitting it accurately, even when I roughly knew where it was. With SmartAIs’ detection and guidance, I was able to dispose of my trash with confidence.”
Gerhard R. personally affected
“At Hanover central station, SmartAIs guided me with pinpoint accuracy to the door of an arriving train. It worked excellently!”

Rethinking orientation together

We believe that good partnerships create accessibility for everyone. SmartAIs develops technologies that describe environments in a context-sensitive way for blind and visually impaired people — for greater participation and inclusion.
Let's talk if you want to make your cultural, care, public, or mobility facility more accessible to blind and visually impaired people.
We are actively looking for partners.
